The Australian Christian Lobby has accused the Federal Government of breaking its election promise to censor the internet after the policy was softened in the face of relentless criticism.

I ‘love’ lobby groups, I think it would be kind of neat to be a close minded nit wit, just really stupid. I think life would be much easier since you would probably be a lot more certain about your point of views and opinions. I doubt Rev Fred Phelps sits on the fence during conversations on relgion or ethical/moral behavior.

I’ve often thought it would be neat to start my own lobby group, something like ‘Australian nationalist rationalistic party’. We wouldn’t have any particularly strong views on anything but we’d like to argue on tiny points of contention for ages and generally make nuisances of ourselves. I feel that would really be in the spirit of politics. Somebody told me that lobby groups stuff politicians pockets full of moneys, this is a bit of an issue for me and my lobby group the A.N.R.P because we’d likely be made of impoverished trouble makers and or tight arses. We’d have to be more a smash and grab/blackmailing lobby group. I think that would be rather more exciting anyway.

Now I’m all for pop culture and i love big business e.g. American appy and hungry jacks but this new game show thing on Channel 10 called ‘Talking about my generation’ is more then a little bit disturbing.

Shaun Micallef has joined a select group of television programs which has managed to disguise advertising as actual programing (finally!). Excuse me? guessing company logos e.g. Addidas, lacoste and hungry jacks isn’t programing. If I wanted this shit I’d watch ACA or today tonight or maybe just punch myself in the face. Shaun Micallef please stop, the only thing worse then this program is all your fan’s crapping on about how great you used to be. ugh.

Also while we’re at it, I get it, Generation Y is shit. Seriously. Vietnam, Reagan and free higher education weren’t my fault, jeez! It doesn’t bother me though, because when all them old people are rotting away in a government run pensioners homes, oh wait they won’t be in a pensioners home because gen Y is so spoilt and probably couldn’t hold a job. have fun on the street jerks!
